Black, Brown + Latinx Design Educators
by Kelly Walters

I was a panelist for the Black, Brown + Latinx Design Educators panel discussion at CAA (College Art Association) in Chicago, February 2020. Panelists included Nida Abdullah (Pratt Institute), Jennifer Rittner (School of Visual Arts), Sam Romero (Florida Southern College), David Jon Walker (Austin Peay State University), Anne Berry (Cleveland State University), Shantanu Suman (Ball State University), Kaleena Sales (Tennessee State University), Ashley Doughty (University of Nevada-Las Vegas), and Ramon Tejada (Rhode Island School of Design). Prior to the panel discussion, panelists were interviewed by session chair, Kelly Walters. These interviews were included in a publication with the panelists’ work which is now published by Princeton Architectural Press.
