Jason Alejandro is a Puerto Rican graphic designer and educator based between New York City and Philadelphia. He is currently Associate Professor of Graphic Design at the College of New Jersey. Jason’s work examines, addresses, and questions aspects of cultural identity, design history, professional practice, and critical pedagogy through research, making, and writing.

CSCC guest presentation

I was invited to speak to students in Professor Deb Kline’s Graphic Design I class at Connecticut State Community College. My talk focused on the practice of book design and I walked students through my process for creating book covers.
